Saving on Online Shopping with Ebates!

If you ever do any online shopping, and especially if you still have some holiday shopping left to do, you may want to sign up for Ebates to help boost your savings.  For those of you who are unfamiliar with Ebates, it's a legitimate site that gives you cash back for your online purchases.  Basically, Ebates gets paid for advertising for retailers and passes along some of those earnings to you through cash back (usually between 1 - 25%) in the form of a quarterly check.  That's a win-win-win situation!  Even better, you can currently earn $5 sign-up bonus if you're a new member!

If you're still confused, here's an overview of how to use Ebates: 

• First, you will need to sign up or log in by going here.  
• Next, simply type the name of the site you want to shop at into the search bar.  If your store is offered (and there are thousands), you should see a cash back percentage for that particular store.  
• Click on the green "shop now" link to be redirected to the site.  
• Shop as usual.  Note that if you close the window, you will need to click through Ebates again in order to earn the cash back.  You must click through an Ebates link every time you shop at a store site.
• Ebates will track your purchase and keep track of the cash back that you earn.
• You should be able to see your cash back in your Ebates account within 30 days of your purchase.  
• You should recieve a check in the mail each quarter with the cash back you've earned.  (Note that if your account balance is under $5.01, it will carry over to the next quarter).
