Safeway: $50 worth of groceries for FREE?! (+ FREE Delivery!!)

Currently, it appears that you may be able to score FREE (or even make money on) groceries from Safeway or Vons.  How is this possible?  Well, Safeway is currently offering a variety of items on sale for Buy One Get One Free (BOGO), and you can use one of a number of coupon codes to score $15 - $20 off plus FREE delivery! (NOTE: I believe most of these codes are valid for first-time home delivery customers only).  Additionally, if you go through ShopAtHome, a cash-back site similar to Ebates, you can earn $12 cash-back for Safeway purchases!  Additionally, new members will get a $5 bonus - That's an automatic $12 - $17 savings just by going through ShopAtHome!  (Note: I've also heard that this deal works at Vons stores)

Here's how to get in on this deal:

• First, go here to sign in or register for ShopAtHome. 
• Next, click here or type "Safeway" in the search bar.  
• Click on the green "shop now" button to be re-directed to the Safeway site.
• You should see an "Online Savings" section on the left hand side of the page with a "Buy One, Get One Free" link, as shown below: 

• Click on the Buy One Get One Free link and add items to your cart.  When you add your first items, you will be prompted to log in or register, and you should create an account at that time. 
• After you create an account, continue shopping (to get back to the Buy One, Get One Free items, simply click the red "Online Savings" tab at the top of the page) until you have added at least $50 worth of groceries to your cart.
• NOTE: As stated on the Safeway site, "For Buy One, Get One Free specials, please add eligible products in multiples of two to your cart.  The discount will be reflected on your final receipt at the time of delivery." So, don't be alarmed by the purchase total because you won't see the BOGO savings until the time of delivery.
• Additionally, be sure to pay attention to the offer dates noted next to the BOGO items, as shown below.  Some BOGO items from last weeks ad are only valid for delivery through today (12/14), but there are many BOGO items that have later delivery dates, and new BOGO items will likely be added with the release of the new ad. 

• Click checkout at the top of the page to schedule your delivery and check out.  You can use one of the following coupon codes:  SAVE694 gives you $20 off + FREE delivery, SHARE15 gives you $15 off + FREE delivery, CJSAVINGS gives you $15 off + FREE delivery, or TENSAVE gives you $10 off + FREE delivery. 
• The BOGO sale items should be reflected at the time of delivery.  So, if you bought exactly $50 worth of groceries and used the $20 promo code, your total should be just $5 at the time of delivery ($50 - $20 promo code - $25 for BOGO items = $5), AND you should get $12 - $17 cash back from ShopAtHome, making the groceries better than free!  WOW!
• Please note that I just placed my order this morning, so I cannot personally vouch for how this deal works; however, I have read from many other bloggers that the deal worked beautifully!  So, to me, it's worth a shot to potentially score free groceries!
