I am currently addicted to Groupon, and I've gotten so many amazing deals! For those of you who are unfamiliar with Groupon, it's a site that negotiates with retailors to get huge discounts (often 50-90% off) on local goods, services, activities, etc. Once you sign up, which is free, fast, and easy, Groupon will send you one email a day with your area's deal. Groupon also often features many non-city-specific deals, meaning that anyone can buy and use the deal even if they are not from the featured city. Below I have listed today's non-city-specific deals. Austin - $10 for $20 worth of baked creations at madCakes

Los Angeles - (look under "More Great Deals Nearby" on the right) - $75 for a prepaid photo box and scan-in-order white-glove service from ScanMyPhotos.com This is a really great deal if you have boxes of old photos that you would like to convert to digital images (you get a DVD of the your scanned photos)!
New York - (look under "Another Great Deal Nearby") - $10 for $25 worth of teas and more from Talbott Teas
North Jersey - $25 for $75 woth of wine from Wine Insiders' Online Store. All orders of 12 bottles or more ship for free. I've personally bought two of these Groupons and was able to get some nice wine for about $5 a bottle!
Orange County - (look under "Today's Side Deal" on the right) - $10 for two green garmento reusable dry-cleaning bags
Washington, DC - (look under "Another Great Deal Nearby") - $20 for $40 worth of gourmet Belgian chocolate brownie gifts from Fairytale Brownies
