9/22 Daily Groupon Round-Up

I am currently addicted to Groupon, and I've gotten so many amazing deals!  For those of you who are unfamiliar with Groupon, it's a site that negotiates with retailers to get huge discounts (usually 50-90% off) on local goods, services, activities, etc.  Once you sign up, which is free, fast, and easy, Groupon will send you one email a day with your area's deal.  Groupon also often features many non-city-specific deals, meaning that anyone can buy and use the deal even if they are not from the featured city (if your city is not yet listed, I would still recommend signing up so you can take advantage of some of these non-city-specific offers!).  Below I have listed today's non-city-specific deals.  In order to take advantage of these deals, sign up or sign in here and then click on "view more cities" near the top of the page to find the deals listed under the cities below:

My personal favorites for today are:
  • Brooklyn, Long Island, North Jersey, and Queens - These cities are each offering a Groupon for $10 for $20 worth of products from Soap.com, a site that sells household essentials like cosmetics, cleaning supplies, and medicines. 2-day shipping is free if you spend over $25. Soap.com also has e-coupons and a first-time customer discount (NOTE: it is unclear if the Groupon can be combined with other coupons/offers).  These Groupons are available in limited quantities, so if you're interested, you should snatch it quickly before they're sold out! This groupon appears to be VERY popular, so hurry!
  • Salt Lake City - $20 for 4 movie tickets from WeeklyCinema.com.  WeeklyCinema.com always offers 4 tickets for $20, but you usually have to have a paid subscription to the site.  With the Groupon, you do not need a subscription, so you can snag 4 tickets for $20!  According to the website, you redeem movie tickets purchased from WeeklyCinema.com through Fandango.com or MovieTickets.com for up to $14 value per ticket toward ANY movie (even IMAX and 3D movies!).  So, basically, it appears that you can get 4 tickets to ANY movie for $20 total!!!!!  WOW!
  • Lincoln - $25 for $75 worth of wine from Wine Insiders.  Shipping is free on orders of 12 bottles, but the Groupon can be used toward shipping if you don't want to get 12 bottles.
Additional non-city-specific Groupons include:
  • Akron & Canton - $15 for $30 worth of costumes and accessories from CoolCostumes.com. This would be a great place to get costumes for Halloween!
  • Boise - $20 for $40 worth of brownie gifts from Fairytale Brownies. Groupon can be applied toward shipping.
  • Dallas (look under "Deal Nearby" on the right) - $40 for three months of online marathon training from Marathon Nation ($89 value).
  • Louisville (look under "Side Deal" on the right) - SnapTotes.com is offering your choice between two custom photo bags- a clutch ($29) and a tote ($50). Shipping is included.
  • Milwaukee - $25 for $50 worth of outdoor gear from Backcountry.com.
  • New Orleans (look under "Side Deal" on the right) - $20 for $40 worth of baby and kids clothing, accessories, and gear from OrganicLayette.com.
  • Portland (look under "Another Great Deal Nearby" on the right) - $39 for $160 worth of men’s clothing from Arbitrage. Shipping is included.
  • Providence (look under "Side Deal" on the right) - $19 for a custom photo cosmetic bag from Bagettes.
  • San Antonio & Wichita (look under "Side Deal" on the right) - $15 for $30 worth of custom-designed clothes from Skreened. Standard shipping is included.
  • Sioux Falls - $5 for a 1-year subscription to Midwest Living magazine.
  • Spokane - $10 for $25 worth of products from Nutty Guys.
  • St. Louis (look under "Another Great Deal Nearby" on the right) - $25 for $50 worth of posters, prints, and framed art from Barewalls.com.

Thanks, Groupon Girl!
